Africa Bound!!

Thank you to all our friends that have helped out with the kids' financial needs for their tickets and trip fund. God bless you all!!!

Several friends have asked when they leave and if it is too late to send money to them...

They leave this weekend.

It is never too late to send them money if you feel led to do so as they will run into people every day in Africa that will have needs bigger than most of us have ever known!

The last time when Dennis was there he was able to sow into so many lives, both spiritually and financially, as God provided in the most amazing ways for him to do that. He said later he really doesn't even know how he did everything he did, except that God just looked out for him.

Jesus said to clothe the naked, feed the hungry... heal the sick, cast out devils and etc... which is what they are planning to do and we are excited with them for what they will experience.

So for any donations that come in after they are gone, they will be directed into an account that they will be able to access while they are over there.

Fever is Rising!

The African Fever is rising as the time is getting closer!

Sue Ellen had kinda given up on going as it just looked to overwhelming, so she had said that unless a miracle happens she is just going to stay here... a few days later she gets a call from someone telling her that a thousand dollars is in the mail for her ticket!!

God is so good!

I will have an update on Dennis and Maria this weekend.... they still have a little ways to go but God is faithful.

They will all be cleaning for me when we go on our spring break trip with the younger trips, oops, I meant KIDS... hmmm... maybe that is prophetic!

But anyways, that will help with their funds as well so just wanted to give everyone an update and God bless you all!

Kids Africa Trip

Okay... so this is Mom. :-)

Dennis, Maria and Sue Ellen are planning their Mission trip to Africa and trying to figure out ways to come up with money for airfare which needs to be purchased by the first of March.

(They are going with a group of about 7 people)

Dennis was over there about 6 months ago where he started several movements where groups of young people are healing the sick, preaching the gospel and changing the world.

These kids are absolutely amazing. You can read some of Dennis' stories about their (and his) experiences on his last Africa trip on his blog HERE.

This time Dennis is taking a group of leaders back to the same area to do more discipling and training, plus raise up more leaders.

Tickets are running about $1300 to $1600 apiece , round trip right now so we are hoping it'll stay that or lower. If anyone has info on where to get the best prices on International airfare, please let us know!

I know many of you on Facebook follow their posts , lives and stories and have been blessed by their lives in some way or other.

I know I have been anyways!

So anyways, I am simply posting this blog as a means for anyone to help with the funds for their Africa trip. They all have their passports or will have by the end of this month as I think Maria has the money to go get hers now.

So many of you have blessed them in one way or other and we say THANK YOU!!

All the money that comes in will go into a fund for them all to share and get their tickets unless you specify which of them you want your donation to go to. I plan to leave this blog up for the duration of their trip so that if anyone wants to give to them while they are over there, it will be easy for them to access it. Thanks to Paypal! :-)

Thank you to all our friends and families out there that continue to pray for and support these kids that are out doing what some of us aren't able to do at this time - although I have my heart SET on seeing Africa myself one of these days!
